Each and every Aureus is exclusively hand built here in England from a choice of six richly polished hardwoods and upholstered with Elmosoft, a luxuriously soft Swedish leather, available in 80 colours, or Ultraleather a selection of soft and durable vinyl’s for the mainly contract client with a total of over 100 colours to choose from. (Included in basic price) 

The Aureus is available in a choice of 4 fixed heights: 635mm/25”, 686mm/27”, 737mm/29” and 787mm/31”. However, the legs can be custom made to individual heights at no extra charge. Due to its unique construction, The Aureus naturally compensates for uneven floors up to 7mm thus avoiding the need for unsightly floor levellers.

Height adjustable couches either Electric drive or Hand Crank drive. Consisting of a powerful and quiet hydraulic piston in each leg maintaining the aesthetics of the Aureus massage couch. Battery option available will have sufficient power to drive the couch for a full day in a commercial environment. Height range from approx 6730mm/26.5” – 864mm/34”.   

The Aureus comes as standard with natural polished brass Ferrules at the top and bottom of the legs, including the Side Armrest Locater, with the side Armrest Location Arms created in stainless steel as standard for both. Complete Polished Stainless Steel is available (optional extra).

Exclusivity

Solely available through Aequum and its designer E W Crowther, the Aureus is a hand crafted in England by a team of skilled craftsmen to create a truly unique item of luxurious furniture. An engraved brass plaque on the underside of each couch discreetly displays its individual number and provenance.

Warranty

  • Structural parts – warranted for the lifetime of the original owner.
  • Electric motors – 2 years against defect or fault.
  • Leather and Vinyl upholstery – 3 years against manufacturing defect.
